Close To My Heart

I've only worn my necklace NYEBoy got me last year a few times. The chain was too small for liking or comfort.

With the one year anniversary of our miscarriage looming, I decided I had to have the chain right now. Well, at least the next day since that was the fastest they could get it.

It was waiting for me when I woke up today and I promptly put it on.

I don't get to hold my baby in my arms, but he or she will forever be in my heart.
