I've heard lots of people rave about their Vitamix, but I wasn't really too keen on the price tag and I knew it would take A LOT of convincing for NYEBoy to let me plop down over $400 on a blender of all things.
I debated with myself all day, but laying in bed a little before midnight, I decided to see what he would say.
You know, I'm back on the low amylose diet...
It makes smoothies like the smoothie stores...
Yes, I realize I could have a smoothie every day for three months for this price...
It makes sugar free ice cream...
I really want to try those green smoothies I see on Pinterest....
But, WAIT! There's more...
It's on five easy payments!!!
He reluctantly agreed to let me call and place my order for the Vitamix-in-black-please! I had to turn to the side to keep from grinning. I was so excited!
Well, you can imagine my excitement when it arrived in the mail today!

I've already made a smoothie (yum!), yogurt ice cream (double yum!), and soup (yuck!).
I'm glad NYEBoy let me get it. I know it's going to help with trying to incorporating more greens into my diet.

That's a pretty bad ass looking blender.
What makes it different than a regular blender?
Glad you're back on your diet. I've started incorporating the idea into my diet.
Post some smoothie recipes please! I'd love to get new ideas to mix with my protein powder.
