Nikke asked me for smoothie recipes, but I don't really have one persay. But, this is what I typically do.
I purchase my fruits once a week or so from Sam's Club. I get a pineapple, bag of celery, a bag of apples and a container each of grapes, strawberries, and spinach. Occasionally, I'll get a few other fruits from EarthFare during the week such as oranges, kiwi, or mangos.
I wash, chop, and freeze the strawberries, grapes, pineapple, and sometimes the fruits like the oranges, kiwi, or mangos. The spinach is already washed, so I just transfer it to a ziploc bag with a half of a papertowel to soak up any extra moisture. I also put a papertowel in the celery after I wash and chop it.

When I get ready to make a smoothie, I pull out everything I need on the counter and load up the blender.

I add the celery, grapes, pineapples, strawberries, apples (1-2 peeled, sliced, red or green apples), and spinach. I also have a container of Coconut Bliss ice cream that I didn't really care for by itself, but instead of throwing it away, I've been adding a scoop of it to the smoothies and its turned out just fine. I realized in this picture, I hadn't added the apples where I normally do (before the ice cream/spinach) but it typically fills the whole container up. This makes a few smoothies, or if you're like me, it fills up a smoothie cup perfectly.

I always give it a taste test before pouring it into my cup, you can tell if it needs a little more ice cream or frozen fruit or whatever.
I top it off with a pink straw, because the only thing better than drinking a healthy smoothie is drinking it out of a pink straw! Ha.

Your smoothie looks tasty and the pink straw tops it off! One of our favorite healthy drink recipes is our Raspberry Vanilla Power Shake, http://bit.ly/wKjqbb, from Simply Delicious Meals. Let us know if you try it and thanks for shopping at Sam’s Club! – Carrie from Sam’s Club
