Nikke asked me how I was doing on the metformin, so I figured I will share in a blog post.
I started the metformin on Wednesday and so far, so good. I have felt a little weird, but I don't know if I would attribute it to the Met coming off of sugar and carbs again. My stomach has rumbled a few times, but nothing has happened. However, I am not on sugar or carbs, which I hear causes most if not all of the gastro issues people seem to complain of.
I've been working out every day so far. I only do about 40-50 minutes of eliptical and treadmill. I'll probably add in some ab workouts soon. I wish we had a bike or a stairstepper thing, I love those.
I can't wait to weigh myself next week to see how I am doing with the met and the workout added into the diet.

Oh my Lord. You're the lucky one if you're not having issues with Metformin. I consulted my doctor on the horrible side effects I was having from it, and he just told me to stop taking it for a while and see if it fixed the problems....he never mentioned anything about sugars or carbs...
I always had 'lepracaun' shits... seriously they were green. Trav named them for me. He's so nice!
