Bad Morning, Good Afternoon

I got a couple of bad phone calls this morning. I can't go into details about one of them, but the other one I'll share. NYEBoy said the bank called him asking about some charges on our debit card. They were concerned. And for once, it wasn't a shopping spree I went on. Apparently someone got ahold of our number and decided to run up almost a thousand dollars in charges. The bank canceled the card for us and he has to go in tomorrow to sign some paperwork.

I'm annoyed that we have to go through this, but thankful I was able to run to the grocery store and gas station this morning before the bank called. A blessing, if you will.

Although my morning sucked ass and I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, my afternoon was made better when a girlfriend stopped by. We've been hanging out since about 4. Yay for friends.

Hopefully tomorrow is a better, more productive day and no one else calls me with bad news.
