5 Years Ago

Five years ago today, a seven pound eleven ounce baby girl was born into this world admist a dysfunctional family. That hasn't changed much, but the that baby girl is now a five year old.

I would have given anything to be there with her today to celebrate her birthday, but waking up to a phone call from her was second best.

I love you, A. I'm sorry things aren't different, but I promise to always try my best to help you.

No matter where you are, no matter where I am, just look at the moon and remember, I love you to the moon and back.
