A Few Notes

I've been writing my last post on infertility for a few days now, but I just don't have it in me right now to get it all out the way I want to. So, instead I'll be hopefully sharing that with you all tomorrow.

I will say I had two ideas come to me this week infertility related, which I hope to share with you all soon, too. Maybe one of them as early as next week.

NYEBoy and I went on a date night tonight. We headed to Outback for dinner. They have some new wood-grill steaks that are really good. (I'm boycotting Longhorn's. More on that another day.) After dinner we headed over to see Fast Five. I have to say, if you can, GO SEE IT. It was amazing. Seriously. Also, stay for the ending. There is a short bit after the credits that leave you gasping and saying FAST SIX! Ha.

I was supposed to go home this weekend to see A, but I haven't talked to my mom since the middle of April and I'm not sure if she's ignoring me and if she is why. I know she's alive because I've talked to my Grandma, so I'm not really sure what gives.

I'm done with my Spring semester. Sort of. I have one make up test to take on Monday for Biology, but I'm totally looking forward to my week long break from school before summer classes start. I'm only taking three classes for this session. One of the classes is online and another one is only once a week for six weeks, so I'll still have enough time to enjoy my summer. Oh, and my other class is only four days a week. Way easier than five classes, that's for sure!

We got the word back from the place we were looking at. We've been approved! Moving date is June 1st (although we'll move that Friday). We'll sign the paperwork next week. Still trying to figure out about what all to do with the place we're at currently. They aren't budging and are making us pay the remainder of our lease. NYEBoy just got a nice raise so that will help, but he may have to ask one of his bosses for a loan so we can pay it off without having to worry. We'll see. I just know I need to get the hell out of this place. I can't stand it. :-)

Well, I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. We sure are.

Just delurking to say that if you are being forced to pay the remainder of your lease (and you don't say how long that is) keep the keys. They sound like the kind of company that might try to lease the unit after you've left even though they legally can't do that. I'd also check back periodically to make sure they haven't.
