Oh my word. I'm so very, very sorry. Make sure that someone nearby is reporting any iffy behavior to the local CPS. Someone needs to keep an eye on her. And she needs to know that CPS is watching her...
I am so sorry for you guys! That is just not right... however, on the good side, if there is one, is that she is now old enough to remember that she loves you and you love her and that you took care of her and when things get bad at your sisters house, she will most likely look at K and say " I want to go back to Due Time's house". That will speak volumes as to what you guys did for her and what you mean to each other. I pray you can find some peace through all this.
