Spring Has Sprung

Well, at least the Spring semester has sprung! Today was my first day back in class for my second semester as a college freshman. Wow, half way done with the first year already.

I have two classes with a girlfriend of mine I met last semester. She's going to try to get into a third class I'm taking that doesn't start for another two weeks. We're on pretty much the same schedule as well. We have different teachers for English, but we're scheduled to take English at the same time. Then, we go to biology together. From there, I have a two hour Math class before, but she has an hour break and a one hour Math class. Then, we head over to American History together. And, hopefully, in two weeks, we'll be taking another class together after that.

The downside to back-to-back-to-back classes is that I barely have 10-15 minutes between each class from 9-2 for the next 2 weeks, and then 9-4 for six weeks after that to eat during the day. I guess I need to get really acquainted with granola bars this semester.

I'm going to be busy this semester since I am taking five classes. This is probably going to be a good thing, at least up until the court hearing. I should be pretty focused on keeping up with all of these assignments, quizzes, and tests. In fact, I have at least two tests, that I know of right now, the day before the custody hearing. No pressure!

I'm hoping, even if things don't go our favor in Feb, that school will be able to keep my mind preoccupied from being too depressed. Although, my mom has told me I am not even allowed to think about it not going our way. We're on the same page, it's gut-wrenching to think about.

So, I try. In fact, I'm registering her for Kindergarten next week. WOW.
