The Crazy Shit She Says: Shopping

When A was around a year old, I bought her a Leap Frog Little Leaps system. They said the set up was only going to take 5 minutes, but I spent an hour trying the different codes and never could figure it out. I decided to try it again the other day. It worked! Score! The only problem was, it didn't have any games with it for her age. And this was when this conversation happened...

Me: Hey, do you want to go get a game for this?

A: (excited) A game?

Me: Yeah, a game.

A: (excited) Now?

Me: Yes, now. Do you want to go get a game?

A: Uh, no.

WTH? She was all excited until she realized it was now. lol

I went to the store to pick up a game for the system when I realized they don't even sell the system or games in the stores any more. Luckily, Amazon had a Backyardigans game for $9 shipped. I'm a little worried that it might be too childish, but I guess we'll find out in a few days when it gets here. Hopefully, it'll help keep her entertained so I can get some work done around here.

I totally want a game!! Oh, I have to, like, put pants on and go? Nevermind.
Lol... I get it though... I often think like that about a trip to get ice cream, haha.
