Happy Anniversary to Us!

Last year we couldn't believe the difference a year made, little did we know what was in store for this year.

We've gone from a family of two to a family of four, at least for now. I appreciate you helping me help my sister and niece. Without our effort, I'm not sure either would have a good chance at a decent future. I know it's not easy to adjust to such a big change, especially for you, but I appreciate you working with me.

I know I'm a bit more bitchy towards you than I should be sometimes, but it's hard for me to filter my thoughts at times. It's probably one of my biggest flaws. It'll probably be on my list of "to work ons" for the rest of my life. Please forgive me.

We've booked a hotel for tonight. I'm looking forward to recreating the magic from two years ago. Dinner, movies, and lots of sex. I love you with all of my heart and wouldn't want to ring the new year in with anyone else by my side.
