I met my brother and father outside of Montgomery, AL today to drop the girls off. They are still driving thanks to lot of rain and storms, but they are on their way back home! I miss A, already. (and K, too) I have the house to myself for a few hours tonight as NYEBoy is working at school wrapping up some final exam type project. The house is eerily quiet. Who wants to come over?
A hasn't seen my brother in over a year. Every time she talks to him on the phone or on Skype, she reminds him that it wasn't nice of him to steal her blocks the last time they saw each other. This was the conversation my brother and her had as soon as we met up today.
Bro: Wow, you are beautiful.
A: *smiles*
Bro: Come here.
A: *leans over from paw-paw's arms and falls into my brothers arms*
Bro: *laughs* Do you remember me?
A: *smiles* I remember you stoled my bwocks from me.
We all cracked up. This kid never forgets a thing.

It is funny what kids remember. It always amazes me what my nephews remember. I told Joey almost 2 years ago that I could not go to FL with them because I did not have any money. Now whenever I say I am not going somewhere with them he says "That is cause you don't have any money. Right Aunt Shell?" LOL
I will be right over. It is going to snow here tonight so I would like some warm weather. I will just hop on my jet. :)
It always amazes me the length of their memories.
