Jen at AmazingTrips is raising money to help fight the cure for cancer. Jen and her husband are running the San Diego Rock N' Roll marathon, to benefit the The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on Sunday, May 31, 2009.
Her friend Deana was diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitt's lymphoma six months ago. She is a mother to two young boys. Just when everyone thought the cancer was gone and Deana was in remission, the cancer came back stronger than ever. Doctors told her that chemotherapy isn't working and she needs to contact Hospice. This past week, Deana flew from California to Texas with the hope the treatment she receives will save her life.
