When Crocs first came out I thought they were pretty cool, but I wasn't willing to pay $30 for a pair of shoes. I am a very frugal person. So, when I saw some faux crocs at Payless for half the cost, plus an additional savings of BOGO (buy one, get one half off), I knew I had to try them.
I bought a funky pair to go with my scrubs and a pair of navy to go with my jeans. I lived in them for a long time. In fact, I bought them about a month before A was born, and just replaced them with a pair of real crocs I picked up at a consignment sale for $3 right before I moved in September.

Can you tell I wore them a little too much? You can see the tread in the old ones compared to the newer ones. You can see my finger almost pops through the bottom, because I wore them out. I'm also short, so you can see where the sides rubbed the chairs or ground.
Now, go see what else you'll see being shared in class today.

Glad you found them. Glad they were comfy too! I've never been a fan of the crocs.
Glad they were so comfortable. I like the funky colors.
I love my Crocs, too. Mine are navy with an orange strap, and I wear them for Bronco games.
I'm going to start searching the thrift stores! Great find!
I LOVED my faux crocs. Then a friend gave me the real deal...and now I'm really hooked!
I mean - mary jane style crocks? The best.
I have not given into the crocs yet. I have tried them on a million times, but have stopped short of buying even though they are so comfortable and I love anything orange.
i received a pink pair for my birthday last yr ( maryjane style) and am in love.
*my show and tell pictures are from Lake Ella today. We went to school in Tall
When you love a shoe and it's comfy - there is nothing better in the world! :0)
am late for Show and Tell this week!! Isn't it sad when your favourite pair of shoes wears out!!
I am not a fan of crocs because they don't stay on my feet, even with the straos and stuff. I think I just have weird feet. I do tend to feel that way about my faux ugg boots. They are sherpa lined and when it is this flipping cold outside they are perfect!
