The funeral was awful, by far the worst funeral I have ever, ever been to. His widow, my friend's mom, before guest arrived, pulled a chair to the casket and tried to stand on top of it and get in. She tried to hit people as they were pulling her down. She screamed she just wanted to lay next to him one more time, she wanted to make sure he knew she loved him. He was only 49.
I am so very, very sad for her. She will never be the same, her soul has truly died. She told her daughter, if it weren't for her grandkids, she would no longer be on this earth.
May God please be with this family over the next few days, weeks, and months. I can't imagine what my friend's family is going through.

Wow... how incredibly sad... that is terrible. Breaks my heart to imagine my parents since they're nearing that age, go through that... heartbreaking.
My prayers are with that family.
