Doing Okay

Well, I am not doing too terribly bad. I called the doctor yesterday afternoon after I woke up because I still couldn't hear out of my left ear with the exception of any sound turning into a loud ringing noise and mumbled. She said that I had bruised my eardrum and had a mild concussion, which could take several weeks for the hearing to come back. So, I have resorted to using an ear plug in that ear because the only thing that helps is no sound at all, in that ear.

The wreck happened when I couldn't see because I had the heat on and it was drying out my contacts, when I blinked it went blurry and then I dried using my fingers to rub them, making them worse. I got them fixed and I looked up and saw headlights. I pushed the gas and turned a sharp right, hit a car, and ended up on a fence, the only thing stopping me from going into the creek full of water. Sigh. My car started smoking and my door would not open. I had to climb out of my window.

I can still picture the headlights, hear the sound of the crash againist the car and the fence and tree bursting my windshield, and I can smell the smoke.

It could have been worse. For that, I thank God.

As for M, he's still being a complete asshole. It just goes to show, I am doing the right thing. It's also making me not so upset about the break up.

On a good note, I have to make four watches tonight, so that will be an extra $100 in my pocket tomorrow. I don't go back to work until Jan 7th, isn't that hot? :-)
