Christmas Eve '07

So, what are you doing this Christmas Eve? What did you ask Santa to bring you?

Tonight I am making fudge, haystacks, 0reo truffles, cookies, sweet potato casserole, and a rye/sausage appietizer. The only thing I have done so far is the appietizer. I am looking forward to tomorrow to see my family, I love this time of year and I am going to be so sad to take my Christmas tree down. Sigh.

This year is going to be weird. Our family doesn't know we split, I don't want to be the talk of Christmas dinner. This will be the last Christmas we will be together in any sense. It will be sad, he's going to leave early to go see "someone". I'll put up a smile, but it hurts.

I have some things to keep me busy during this time, so I do have hope that next Christmas will be even better. So, with that I will smile, and mean it, and wish you all the very merriest Christmas' of all.
