Nit Picking

My dumbass manager lady keeps nit picking at every fucking thing I do!

It's getting on my damn nerves. I know she doesn't like me, I have no idea why (well I do but it wouldn't be 2005 of me to say it). But I want to just tell her to shut the fuck up for a change!!

Today while sitting at my desk, I was eating some wheat thins on my 15 min break and while she's eating her tuna fish and crackers she tells me "If I were you I would go to the break room if Kevin see's you he will get upset"

FUCK YOU LADY! He's not going to give two shits if I am eating some wheat thins for 15 mins! Like she is some broad with a not-get-in-trouble card or something stuffing her fucking face with tuna sitting down doing the same damn thing!

She told me she wanted me to not eat and sit, that I could eat just as long as I was working while I was eating. Sorry dumbass Im not going to eat while messing with patients charts, the doctor puts on gloves, writes in the chart touching it with what ever the fuck is wrong with them then I get it on my finger with touchs my wheat thin that goes in my mouth...FAT ASS CHANCE LADY!

Im not a germ-o-phob! But when you see charts with HERPIES and + STD labs come back that your putting in patients charts your not really wanting to stuff your fingers in your mouth, ya know?!

I Wonder What Would Happen...

My desk is along a huge wall of windows, the whole wall is a window into the golf course beside our building and a road that we are off of.

This morning I looked out the window and thought to myself, I wonder if there was ever a wreck there if any of the doctors in this practice would go help.

A little before 5 my co-worker said "Damn theres a wreck"

I looked up and there was a wreck right where I had looked earlier this morning.

It was really really bad, :-( 2 teenagers were life flighted to a local hospitol.

I feel guilty for even thinking about it but I know I didn't cause it.

My heart goes out to those poor parents. :-(

I'm Fat

I looked in the mirror, naked of course, and I look so damn ugly!

I'm fat and I'm tired of it!

Next week we are starting to exercise more and eat healthier...

I probably only have about 20lbs to lose...Matt's got a lot more.

I told him he better lose weight before we even considered doing treatments..not wasting money if his overweightness is causing low quality sperm any way.

In all the years we have been together I haven't said anything about his weight, so Im sure it was a shock but he's gotta get in better shape.

He's ready...so am I.

We may join the YMCA for exercise.

Getting gourmet lunches catered by the drug reps every day isnt helping...I had a nice fat ole slice of lemon pie today MMmMmM Damn it was good!

I may start bringing my lunch next week.

Save The Drama For Ya Mama!

Work has sooo much damn drama!!! My gosh people need to get off their asses and do some damn work!

A message from a patient was sent back and forth SEVERAL times between two people because neither would sign a damn form! Give me a fucking break people!

This poor lady has been calling since last week trying to get the form signed because insurance said they pay for her glass eye if the dr would sign it...Ummm this lady is walking around with a patch because these people dont want to do any more work than the next person!

This is the second day in a row I have worked 20+mins over time because of two idiots I work with....

And to think I left my old job because of the drama...

SAVE IT FOR YOUR DAMN MAMA!!!

I have enough in my personal life to need it at work too.

Now..off to make 100 new patient charts because I dont have enough time during the day to do them and we are getting low...this will take a few hours :-(

Tooth Ache

My back tooth has been aching so bad since 330 this morning :'-( My damn dental insurance doesn't start until Nov 1st because of new job..wahhh!!

Hopefully the antibiotics will work in a few days and I wont have to stick to advil every 4 hours.

Heading to bed..its an early night.

Cleaning The House!

Well I decided to start cleaning my closet and doing my laundry...whew feels good to have it done but Matt HAS to bitch about something! Ughhhhh!

Whatever...just cause ya have one doesn't mean ya have to act like one!!!

I have been working on it, slowly for a few months now, I have decided to sit down and really work on it this weekend. I even bought graphics from a graphic website ... so I have that out of the way!

I hope I can finish it within the next week or so.

TGIF!!!

I am so glad it's Friday!!

I had to go see one of the doctors today because my throat was getting sore and I wanted to start getting the dr visits incase we decide to get my tonsils removed next spring. The dr agreed to start keeping up with it. So here we go!

Anyways, I was in the drs room for 30 mins..came out and my "manager" wasn't there, and neither was my other co-worker. But oh standing in the cart was at least 50 charts ready for me to file back on Monday. I was going to save them for Monday until when I went in the clinic and found over 100 charts in the buckets.

No way! They left all this shit for me to file back on Monday. I *NEVER* leave the other girl files to file back on Monday.

So ..I took advantage of the overtime, and stayed an hour over to make sure they were filed back and I have nothing HUGE to come in to on Monday.

Ugh. Beotches!

Then the light bulb went off, AhHa! Big brother was on and we forgot to tape it. But oh wait! No Big Brother WASN'T on that Thursday.

We still have NO clue how/why we missed it.

What's That Smell?

We had a lady come into the office today..complaining of a smell from her crotch...

It was a tampon that had been there THREE weeks and she didn't even know it.

OMG How fucking disgusting!!! It stunk on that side of the office for awhile, Luckily I was warned before I got a wiff of stank!

Didn't her husband think she smelt? Shouldn't he have said something? Come on lady!

She was in her late 20's!

But she's not alone, this is the second time I have heard this in less than 2 yrs! YUCK!

But how embarassing would it be for the doctor to pull out a tampon and say "Um, This is why your cooch stinks!"

I have to go take a bath now just thinking about it.

Back & Ankle Go Out!

Well my back and ankle are totally killing me!

My back hurts from lifting so many boxes of charts and my ankle keeps going out..it will be fine then I walk and bam its not there ouchhhhh!! Then I limp around a few mins and its fine again..Arg!

I took some advil and I am going to bed!

BFN times TWO

Well I got a BFN this morning...and wanted dr to do a beta so she made me do a pee test first which also turned out neg because I could only hold it one hour...boy I had to pee a lot today!!!

It was of course neg...I was going to get the beta but decided to wait until Monday just incase she comes and I dont feel like a dumbass lol..

This is Our Month!

This will be our month to conceive out of all of the months we have been trying..I just KNOW in my gut this will be the one..

Why? You ask

Well because the benifits guy came around explaining all of my benifits to me (started a new job on Aug 1st) and I was signing up for dental and vision and short term disability..(already have health)

signed the papers etc..

and he says "Oh by the way just incase you wondered, you won't be covered if you deliver your baby in the next nine months, but you can get pregnant in the next nine months, just don't deliver, so if you get pregnat after Nov Im sure you will be fine"

WTF? Dude only asked if I was pregnant and I said "Nope"

and before I walk out he says that..

So..if Murphy's Law has it...

This will be our month.

Go figure.

Dial UP to DSL!

Well after 9 years of being on Dial Up of some sort..we switched to DSL.

We are with Bellsouth and I absolutely LOVE it!!

Big Brother 6

This is the sixth year we have been watching this show..I am a total Big Brother addict!!!

It ends on the 20th though unforchantly. :-(

I'm a total reality nerd. So is my grandma though!! hehe

Unlike her, I am PC so I sneek online and read the big brother 6 live feed transcripts every night to see what's going on before they air it LOL

Exhausted

I can barely keep my eyes open during day..but at night, it's making it so hard for me to fall asleep..Why?!!?!?!? I am tired, I know I am tired, NOW FALL ASLEEP!!!

What A Difference A Year Makes

A year ago I started posting in a group full of women, most of them trying, a few pregnant, and even fewer new moms.

A year later, I still post, but not fulltime active in the group. They are now mostly moms, a few still pregnant, and even fewer trying.

Oh how 12 months makes a difference.

Six months ago I got sick of being the fewer still trying so I made a group of just us ttc'er who have been trying forever. It's a small group but it's nice to know these women from a year ago. I just hope by next March one of us gets pregnant. It's been six months so far and none of us has received our BFP yet. I read a few months ago that 82% of women who didn't conceive in their first year, will in their second. I have been rooting for us to all get our BFPs in the same month.

The only downer side to a group like this, is they are better off finiancally than we are or will ever be for the forseeable future. So while they are off to IUIs, IVF, and adoption or whatever the choose in these upcoming months, I will still be here, alone, in the dark, trying, and trying, and trying, and trying.

I hope by next summer we will either be parents, pregnant, or at least have some money to start IUIs or something...The amounts are just overwhelming to think about out of pocket right now...but maybe it will make sense then.

It's A Boy!!!

The check out lady told me I had a call while I was out for lunch..

My stomach went weak, I just knew it.

My friend was at the local hospital in labor..I kept calling every hour to see how she was doing and where she was..

She delivered little Deonise (Yes, this name will go down in my stupid names list!!) at 5:11pm. He weighed 6lbs 9oz.

She had him via emergancy csection as his heart rate went down. But all is well with baby and mom now.

I was really worried about going up there but it wasn't so bad except I am still a bit off on lack of sleep. I didn't even have a major break down! Which I totally figured I would.

Sleepless nights ahead as she asked me to stay at home during her hospital stay so I would stay with her when she comes home Saturday..

Holding that baby for three hours straight REALLY makes me want a baby.

Scatterbrain

I guess it's from there being a four day week so it's throwing me off big time!

We have one doctor at our practice who moves to different halls depending upon the days and her check in is in different places as well so when I would take a chart out it would throw me off trying to remember it was Tuesday and not Monday. Duh!

On the good side it will make the weekend come faster!!!

MDA Telethon

Did you help Jerry's Kids this weekend?

I hope so!

Tonight I got back from our Memphis area Jerry Lewis Telethon.

And, whew! Am I exhausted!

It was fun though.

We raised $699,200!!! Way to go Midsoutherneres!!!

Next year I plan to save enough to be able to send a child to camp, it's a $600 donation.

I also can't wait to go back to camp next year, I love going and work the arts & crafts.

We unforchantly lost three children since last telethon, this is part of the volunteering that I hate, it's so sad to see the kids go from running, to walking, to in wheel chairs, to gone.

So heartbreaking.

Yesterday one of the drs came in the lunch room and was talking about a whack job that came in...

She said she wanted to have sick leave from work for two weeks..

Well she proceeded to tell the dr that it was too personal to discuss..

Ummm..right lady..and shes supose to grant you sick leave....how? for what reason?

Dinner With A Suprise!

We go to dinner every week with a friend...

She kind of let it slip she had got her BFP.

I could have cried right there..lost it totally...

Infact, I really don't remember much of the evening as it seemed like I was out of my body most of the time trying to hide my emotions...

Yes I am absolutely happy for her...But it caught me off guard.

I wish her a happy & healthy 9mths.. I just hope I get mine very soon so I can have a belly buddy down the street!!!
